Frequently asked questions about our sleeping bags
How do I choose the right TOG value?
TOG is a unit of measurement for the thermal resistance of textiles. The lower the TOG value, the lighter and airier the material. Our 0.5 TOG sleeping bags are ideal for the height of summer (from 24°C), while the lightly lined 2.5 TOG sleeping bags can be used all year round at room temperatures of 16-20°C.
What do I wear with my baby's sleeping bag?
Pay particular attention to the room temperature and your child's individual needs. A short-sleeved bodysuit is suitable in high summer, while a long-sleeved bodysuit or pyjamas are recommended in winter. Check your child's temperature regularly to avoid overheating.
Is it normal for the sleeping bag to shrink after waking up?
Our sleeping bags are made from natural cotton, which shrinks by around 5% after washing. We have therefore made the cut a little more generous so that the fit is optimal after washing.
Important instructions for use
- Do not use if the child's head fits through the closed neckline.
- Make sure that the neck and arm openings are securely closed.
- Do not continue to use as soon as the child can climb out of the crib.
- Do not use together with a comforter or another blanket. Pay attention to the room temperature and suitable sleeping clothes to avoid overheating, as this can be life-threatening for your child.
- Keep away from fire.
- Keep plastic packaging out of the reach of children to avoid the risk of suffocation.
- Do not continue to use the sleeping bag at the first sign of damage.
