Before the purchase

What needs to be considered when choosing the size of the mattress?

  • Discover the variety of our mattresses that have been specially designed for standard cribs. Our product range includes mattresses for cradles and co-sleepers, baby mattresses measuring 140x70 cm and 60x120 cm as well as junior mattresses for beds measuring 90x190 cm. We therefore offer you the ideal sleeping base that perfectly matches the needs and dimensions of the crib.
  • With baby mattresses, it is important to ensure that there are no gaps greater than 3 cm in length and width between the mattress and the inside of the bed. This ensures a safe sleeping environment for your baby.

How is the mattress packaged?

  • We want to transport our mattresses safely and in an environmentally friendly way. For this reason, all mattresses are carefully rolled and shipped in a compact format.
  • By rolling the mattresses, we save up to 50% transport volume and reduce CO2 emissions by half.

Before use

Does the mattress need to be aired out before use?

  • To ensure that your baby enjoys the best sleeping conditions straight away, we recommend opening the mattress 48 hours before use. Although explicit airing is not necessary, this short waiting time allows the foam core to fully develop and provide optimal support.
  • Good to know: Our mattresses are all certified with the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, which means that all materials used have been tested for harmful substances and classified as harmless. Our mattresses are designed to meet the highest standards in terms of material quality and safety, providing a reliable basis for a peaceful and restful sleep for your child.

Does the cover need to be washed before use?

  • No, the cover does not need to be washed before first use.
  • For optimum hygiene: fitted sheets as ideal protection. To maintain the highest standards of hygiene, we recommend the use of fitted sheets. These not only offer effective protection against soiling, but are also easy to remove and clean in the washing machine. Using fitted sheets helps to keep the mattress clean and fresh while providing a comfortable and pleasant sleeping environment for your baby.

What safety-relevant information must be observed?

  • Never use more than one mattress in the crib, crib or hanging cradle.
  • Care must be taken to ensure that the crib (crib and hanging cradle) is not placed near an open fire or strong heat sources, e.g. electric radiant heaters, gas ovens, etc.
  • The mattress may no longer be used if individual parts are broken, torn, damaged or missing.
  • The plastic packaging must always be kept out of the reach of children or disposed of as recycling waste.

Cleaning & care

What do I need to bear in mind when cleaning the cover?

  • Our mattress covers can be washed at up to 60°C in the washing machine.
  • We recommend special detergents for babies without fragrances. Fabric softener should be avoided.
  • The mattress cover can be tumble dried or gently dried on a washing line.
  • The cover should only be put back on when it is completely dry.
  • The cover must not be dry-cleaned or ironed.

How do I clean the mattress core?

  • If necessary, you can simply dab the mattress core with a damp cloth. Be careful not to damage the inner cover and avoid the mattress absorbing moisture. This uncomplicated cleaning method keeps the mattress core fresh and ready for restful baby sleep.
  • Before you put the cover back on, allow the foam core to dry thoroughly after cleaning. This maintains the ideal sleeping environment for your baby and guarantees a long life cycle for the mattress.
